Animals of Venezuela Series
Final Assignment for Advanced Oil Painting class. I needed to choose a theme and create a series of paintings that shared a common motif. My chosen theme was Animals found throughout Venezuela’s geography, and the motif is the colorful leaves around the subjects. The leaves are very reminiscent of montera plants found in the Amazon rainforest.

The Pet Play Triptych
Assignment from my Advanced Oil Painting class. The goal was to make a triptych, a combination of three panels that went put together would seamlessly form an artwork. The theme I went with was a fairytale trope re-enaction with my pets. Since triptych commonly depicted religious scenes with powerful entities that could meddle with the world as they please, I decided to add a figure of myself as a director of this play.
The Pet Play features Suny as "The Dragon", Cornelius as "The Valiant Knight" and Apollo as "The Beautiful Princess with Luscious Hair"
